ReVive Wood collects out-of-service utility poles and transforms them from waste to their natural beauty. We receive raw poles, then set to work processing them.
To ReVive the wood from within we process the poles: scanning the pole for metal and other miscellaneous debris, removing debris such as spikes, nails, and glass plugs before cutting the poles with the saw.
Once the raw material has been processed, the possibilities for creation are endless. Canadian Red Western Cedar has a seat at this table. Handcrafted from revived utility poles, coated with clear finish to showcase the natural beauty of the cedar.
Once we process the poles, which have growth rings in the hundreds of years, ReVive Wood honors the legacy of the trees and gives their wood new life. Barn doors, cabinet doors, and benches are a few products already born of this precious resource.
The Diana Pavilion built solely from Canadian Red Western Cedar milled from diverted utility poles. Our team has the skills necessary to transform this beautiful Canadian resource into timeless structures which bring joy and life to your property. Pavilions, pergolas, gazebos, and more!
To bring that vision into reality, ReVive Wood works towards responsibly collecting and diverting out-of-service utility poles from local landfills: reducing the amount of waste sent to a landfill and minimizing the environmental impact. ReVive Wood honors the land and gives life once more to this valuable resource.

ReVive Wood needs your help
ReVive the Purpose of the Poles: help be a part of their story, help us help the future of the earth, and future generations to come.
ReVive Wood is a locally owned and operated business, in Killam Alberta, that works to collect and divert out-of-service utility poles from local landfills, and ReVive the wood from within.
Initially, with good intention, Canada’s trees were harvested and turned into utility poles; it was these very poles that brought our country together from coast-to-coast. We have come to know the trees that became utility poles were hundreds of years old by counting the rings of the various poles brought to ReVive Wood. Hundreds of years old trees, makes hundreds of years old poles, all older even, than the Confederation of Canada.
These poles carry the story of our country, the story of this land, and it is now our responsibility to ReVive them from waste. ReVive Wood is set to honor the legacy of the trees and give their wood new life. We honor the trees and the land through sound business practices and environmentally responsible reclamation.
ReVive Wood stands to alter the course of these poles, returning them from the landfills and into their glory once more. We aim to serve people with a reverence for their country, their land, their community, and their home.
Together, we believe that with our community we can positively impact our future and the future of our home, by creating a local sustainable solution.
ReVive Wood serves the community by providing local employment opportunities, builds a greener society by practicing responsible environmental stewardship, and maintains good standing within the community by employing sound business practices.
